Boris

Kogan draws out the vitality, passion and strong bond between a man and a woman, the 'nagging' wife and the husband who doesn't talk, and is clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer.' The snide expression is a humorous result of coming home drunk, with an impatient wife waiting at the door, fuming with anger. Boris may think of himself as the 'man in charge,' but whenever he upsets or disappoints his wife, she will rake him over the coals. This work draws on Russian folk traditions to make a strong satirical statement.
