With his nose turned to the sky, the subject of “Clown” is a representation of insight and experience. Reflecting on layers of his life span, stories of the past, the subject of this piece carries pain and hardship; compassion and understanding. “Clown” tells us how to accept things we cannot change, change the things we can, and have the wisdom to know the difference.
